If you’re interested in experiencing the magic of the Thar Desert, the Osian Desert Dune ride is for you. Start at the impressive Mehrangarh Fort at Jodhpur, we then transfer a short distance to Mathania to meet your horses and camp. On this ride you pass small rural tribal hamlets, discovering local style round thatched mud huts. The tracks are long and sandy and make for some good canters up the sand dunes to gain spectacular views. We camp in the desert scrub, where you’ll wake up surrounded by the sounds of desert life. We end at Khichan and hope to see the migratory Demoiselle Cranes, before transfer back to Jodhpur.
