Pałac Galiny is situated within the premises of a historical 16th century manor estate, featuring a Palace and a 19th century Grange, just 70 km from Olsztyn. Nearly 70 horses are kept in the historic stables and beautiful landscapes of the property which offer the perfect conditions for a Riding School. Qualified instructors are available to teach at all levels.

Holsteiner and Westphalian Horses

Palac Galiny has been breeding sport horses of Holsteiner and Westphalian horses since 1998. The historic stables and run pens accommodate more than 100 horses and the stud farm also uses 70 ha of pastures. Pałac Galiny is surrounded by 300 hectare grounds including forests, meadows, ponds and an exquisite 4.5 hectare park.

Equestrian Centre of Excellence

Riding School

The riding school conducts lessons for adults and children at different levels. Under the supervision of a qualified instructor you can hone your riding skills all year long - there are both spacious outdoor arenas for good weather and a quality indoor arena for winter tuition. For the experienced riders there is stunning riding in the countryside and this is available regardless of the time of year - different seasons each bring a different charm to the landscapes. Younger guests can enjoy Shetland ponies and carriage-rides also.

Besides horse riding, there are several activities to experience at Galiny. You can try carriage driving, enjoy a stroll through the forest and meadows. There is plenty of wildlife in the forest from deer and wild boar to a plethora of birdlife, making it an ideal place for photography enthusiasts. The well stocked ponds for those who go fishing for perch and trout is available all year round and if your fishing trip is successful, the on-site chefs will prepare a special dinner for you with your own catch!

16th Century Manor Estate

Terrain Trip to Stoczek Klasztorny & A Ride to Wegoryty Village

Ride along the Warmia's wonderful meadows and forests. Walk, trot and gallop one day to Stoczek Klasztorny, with its 17th century chapel and monastery, one of the eight baroque pilgrimage sites. Have lunch prepared by the monks of the monastery. Also in this 4 days itinerary is a ride to the Wegoryty village. Lunch will be served at a local farm.

Olsztyn-Mazury Airport (SZY), located 80km away, is the nearest airport to our estate. This is a smaller airport with limited connections. Travellers from UK may find this a good option as there are flights from Luton and Stansted airports that will land at this airport.
