Beach Riding

Endurance Riding, Wine, Gastronomy and History

At Centre Equestre Marina, trail riding has many facets: you will be able to take a tranquil 2 hour long ride through the pine forest, a half-day ride to the ocean or a trip to a lake where you can swim with the horses. On the other end of the spectrum, serious and seriously fit endurance riders will find an exceptional experience: a ride covering 40 to 65 daily kilometers through historical Châteaux and wine country in Périgord and Sauternes. Incredible food, wine tastings, culture and long gallops to work it all off, how much better can it get?

Riding Camps for Teenagers

It’s well known that teenagers have more fun among themselves. Good riders, 12 to 18 years old, have several options at Mimizan: intensive weeks of riding instruction in dressage and show jumping, trekking and excursions weeks, and a mixed formula with the best of both worlds. Weeks with English language instruction are also available. The teens are housed in a dormitory setting and there is a pool on the premises. Campers will be supervised by professionals holding French Government diplomas in equestrian education.
